MAPP negotiated a 24-month CPPA linked to Toggam Solar Farm, Suffolk, which will provide 6 GWh of fully traceable, zero-carbon electricity to Feldberg Capital, helping reduce Scope 2 emissions while supporting local communities through renewable infrastructure investment and social value generation
Feldberg Capital Signs 6 GWh Corporate PPA with Good Energy, Linked to Toggam Solar Farm
London, 8th September 2026 – Feldberg Capital, the real estate investor and developer, has signed a 24-month Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with Good Energy, one of the UK’s most trusted renewable electricity suppliers, to deliver 6 GWh of high-integrity, fully traceable green electricity across seven assets held within two of its funds.
The agreement, which was negotiated and facilitated by MAPP, the leading commercial property management and operations firm, acting as the managing agent, further reinforces Feldberg Capital’s position as a specialist investor focused on transforming and future-proofing real estate assets through sustainability-led value creation.
The CPPA is directly linked to Toggam Solar Farm, a 12.4 MW solar installation located in Lakenheath, Suffolk, owned and operated on behalf of West Suffolk Council. The farm generates between 11,000 and 12,500 MWh of clean electricity annually – enough to power approximately 3,000–3,500 homes.
The agreement delivers strategic value to Feldberg Capital by securing access to high-integrity renewable energy directly linked to UK generation assets, supporting its broader strategy of investing in and managing sustainable real estate. It enables measurable progress towards Scope 2 emissions reduction targets while supporting ESG reporting, decarbonisation objectives and wider sustainability disclosures.
Why Good Energy?
As part of its commitment to responsible and transparent energy procurement, Feldberg Capital worked with MAPP to undertake a rigorous supplier selection process. Good Energy was selected on the strength of its best-in-class sustainability and social value performance, and strong alignment with Feldberg Capital’s long-term ESG objectives. The supplier meets all UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Renewable Procurement Principles, holds the Uswitch Green Tariff Gold Standard accreditation, and is a certified B Corporation, reflecting the same high standards of environmental and social governance as MAPP and Feldberg Capital.
Crucially, Good Energy operates direct PPAs with UK renewable generators rather than relying solely on Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), ensuring the electricity supplied is both credible and additional, and directly supports new renewable generation within the UK.
Social Value: Toggam Solar Farm
Beyond its environmental credentials, the CPPA delivers meaningful social value to the communities surrounding Toggam Solar Farm. The site generates long-term, stable income for West Suffolk Council, with over £5.2 million reinvested into local public services after costs in recent years, from more than £8.4 million of income generated over the past three years.
The site also contributes to biodiversity and habitat enhancement through environmental land management, and has hosted community engagement and education programmes for schools, environmental organisations and youth groups. More broadly, the project supports West Suffolk Council’s wider net-zero and climate objectives and contributes to UK energy security through locally generated, grid-connected renewable power.
Louise Bonham, CEO at MAPP, said:
“Sustainable energy procurement in real estate has evolved rapidly, and the bar for what constitutes genuinely green electricity is rightly rising. We work exclusively with suppliers and structures that meet the highest standards. Our preference is to build long-term, organic relationships with like-minded businesses that are committed to the green transition. This PPA delivers real, measurable impact towards zero Scope 2 emissions, full traceability to a single UK solar farm, and meaningful social value reinvested into local communities.”
Tom Parsons, Commercial Director at Good Energy, said:
“At Good Energy, we have always believed that renewable energy should be real, traceable and additional. Toggam Solar Farm is a fantastic example of what community-rooted renewable infrastructure can deliver, clean electricity, local investment and genuine environmental benefit. This PPA demonstrates that the real estate sector can and should hold itself to the highest standards of green procurement, and we look forward to supporting Feldberg Capital’s decarbonisation journey. An added benefit is that the farm supports frontline council services without increasing pressure on local taxation, strengthening West Suffolk Council’s financial resilience at a time of reduced central government funding.”
